MLOps Fundamentals & Generative AI with Prompt Engineering

This 2-month weekend course is designed for students with no prior experience in AI/ML, providing a strong foundation in both MLOps and Generative AI.
Classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 to 9:00 AM EST, offering hands-on learning guided by industry instructors.

MLOps Fundamentals

Understanding the differences between MLOps, DevOps, and DataOps
This track introduces the concepts and practices of Machine Learning Operations (MLOps). Students will learn how to manage the full ML lifecycle, including:


• Understanding the differences between MLOps, DevOps, and DataOps
• Handling data preprocessing, validation, and versioning using tools like Pandas and Scikit-learn
• Tracking model experiments and tuning hyperparameters with MLflow
• Packaging and deploying models using Docker and BentoML
• Building CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Monitoring ML models in production using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
• Completing a capstone project to apply all key concepts in an end-to-end ML workflow

Generative AI & Prompt Engineering

This track focuses on the rapidly growing field of Generative AI, including practical applications of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt design. Students will gain experience in:


• Using LLMs through various prompting techniques such as zero-shot, few-shot, and chain-of-thought
• Building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures with vector databases
• Exploring Agentic AI to design and deploy autonomous AI agents
• Practicing advanced prompt engineering strategies with real-world use cases
• Completing a capstone project to build a Generative AI application from scratch

Python Fundamentals

For students new to programming, Python Fundamentals module is offered at the beginning of the course to cover the essential programming knowledge required for both tracks.

Certification

At the end of each course, students will take an open-book test. Upon passing, they will receive a Certificate of Completion from Monk Technologies.
